How do I remove line breaks from text copied from a PDF?

Paste the text and click "Remove line breaks". It joins the broken lines inside each paragraph and keeps the blank lines between paragraphs, so the structure stays intact. Use "Remove all line breaks" to put everything on one line.

How do I remove extra spaces?

Click "Remove extra spaces". Double spaces, tabs and non-breaking spaces become a single space, and spaces at the start and end of each line are removed.

How do I remove duplicate lines?

Click "Remove duplicate lines". The first copy of each line is kept in its original position and later copies are deleted. Lines are compared after trimming spaces, and blank lines are kept.

What does Straighten quotes do?

It turns curly “smart” quotes and apostrophes, which word processors add automatically, into straight " and ' characters. This avoids errors when you paste text into code, CSV files or some websites.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Click Undo to step back through up to 20 previous versions of your text.

Is my text uploaded?

No. All clean-ups run in your browser and nothing leaves your device.
